about

After dealing with depression after my previous record, I decided to really put in effort in changing myself. Over the next few years I got involved again in the Austin music scene, started the The Dead Space, began working at my home-away-from-home, Beerland, and met some wonderful new people. My coworker Orville Neely introduced me to Graham Low, who would become my musical guru and dear friend. I also reconnected with an old acquaintance Matt Hammer and with one of my best friends and musical go-to Shelley McKann, and the four of us started one the best versions of my band. We put out Should Have Known You on Garrett Hadden’s record label. Orville Neely using an 8 track tape machine captured the exact vibe of our live showsI It was very well received and just a fantastic performance by everyone.
